Retention force is a multiple higher than the pure cylinder force and is being maintained at pressure loss.

Retraction and extension stroke are carried out identically to regular hydraulic cylinders, the locking and unlocking process happens self-actuated without additional means of control required.

When retracting the connecting members are being released self-actuated. The repeat accuracy for establishing the locking position is very high.
